Dr. Beverly Stephenson Spay Neuter Program

The mission of this program is to help address the overpopulation of stray cats.

We provide affordable spay and neuter options for farm cats and adult cats of local low-income families.

Please note, we are not here to provide low-cost elective sterilizations for the general public.  There are other options we recommend such as your local veterinary clinic or programs such as mnsnap.org, purplecatvet.com, and snaptcats.org.

Per our conditional use permit, we are allowed to offer spay and neuter surgeries twice a week.  The list of cats is vast and so our focus is on those cats that are currently capable of reproducing.

We reserve the right to decline service for cats that have been declawed, are designer breeds, and anytime we question whether the situation meets our qualifications.

To apply, please read, print and complete the instructions in the link below.  DO NOT call the sanctuary – everything you need is included in the link.

Qualified applicants will be added to our wait list and notified by text message.  Please make sure to keep these cats indoors and separated if possible until their sterilization surgery can be performed.

*** All surgeries are performed at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary Feral Cat Wellness Center:  3405 220th St. E, Faribault Mn 55021.

*** All cats will be ear clipped and microchipped. If you do not want your cat ear clipped/microchipped, schedule the surgery at your own clinic. Again, all cats WILL BE ear clipped and microchipped.
